Makes 1
With a tart cranberry blush and a warm gingery kick, this fun mocktail is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:
- 2 cranberries
- 1 thin slice ginger, peeled
- 2 thin slices satsuma mandarins, divided use
- Crushed ice
- 5 ounces sparkling cranberry-apple cider
Directions:
- Place 2 cranberries, a slice of ginger, and a satsuma slice in the bottom of a tumbler. Add a sprinkle of crushed ice. Use a muddler to crush everything together.
- Top off glass with more ice. Fill with sparkling cider. Stir gently.
- Garnish with a slice of satsuma.
- Bartender’s Tip:
- Mandarin oranges include tangerines, clementines (aka “Cuties”), and satsumas. They are generally smaller and sweeter than regular oranges. They are a little flatter in shape, have thinner skins, and are mostly seedless. If satsumas are unavailable, substitute with tangerines or clementines.
